company.
I'm
Paul, and I started in
the auto-transport industry in 1985 when Williams Mfg., in El
Monte, California hired me. Williams was the leader
in West Coast stinger open carriers then. Al Williams, the
owner, produced equipment that was well known in the industry
for being quick loading, versatile and reliably durable. After
more than 50 years in the industry, at age 76, he passed away.
Two years later, in 1992, Williams Mfg. closed.
I will always be grateful to Al
for his friendship and the wealth of experience he shared with
me, which is the foundation of Lugo Manufacturing, Inc.
Lugo
Manufacturing, Inc., first opened as Auto Transport Service in
1995 and incorporated in 1998. Our
nationwide customer base has been built on providing excellent
quality repair work at a reasonable price. We are the company of
choice for warranty work in Southern California for Cottrell,
Inc., Delevan Industries and Boydstun Metal Works.
We
build one style of stinger open carrier and one style of
enclosed carrier. This stinger unit is custom built and favors
a mix of 10 large vehicles. The enclosed unit is a custom 53 Ft.
Kentucky trailer with nose and tail cones and four independent
sliding tables which accommodate eight vehicles.

Mfg. is the authorized West Coast distributor for Cottrell,
Inc., the largest auto transport equipment manufacturer in the
country. Built in Georgia, this product line offers a wide
variety of stinger and high-mount equipment to choose from.
